These two non-homologated models give you the chance to experience the ultimate in 600cc Supersport performance – whether you’re a track day rider or committed racer.
R6 RACE: R/World Only
Supplied in track-ready trim with non-essential road components excluded, the R6 RACE features a pure race-bred specification that includes a high performance 599cc engine with a Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-I) and Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) – as well as a lightweight aluminium Deltabox chassis, magnesium subframe and high-specification R1-type 43mm KYB adjustable front forks.
The R6 RACE will be available in sleek Tech Black with golden coloured forks, and its competitive wet weight and class-leading performance make it the ideal machine for enjoying track day events – as well .as being the perfect base model for racers who want to personalize it to their own specification.
R6 GYTR: Ultimate Racing Supersport
The R6 GYTR is designed for a wide selection of customers from track day riders through to serious racers and comes fully equipped with a wide range of performance-enhancing GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing) parts – including a programmable Superstock ECU with a cable interface enabling you to optimize engine performance. The R6 GYTR is also supplied with a lightweight titanium Akrapovič racing exhaust system, racing chain and sprockets, and high specification stainless steel brake lines – as well as a GYTR race seat and fully adjustable billet rear sets.
R6 GYTR is the clear choice if you’re a more demanding racer who wants to take your bike’s performance to an even higher level by fitting a range of engine, suspension or other components from the GYTR line-up.
